A 'Hoppy' Poem For

Releasing Bugs Back Into 'The Wild'

A fun activity to end a bug hunt, bug collection, or other insect-related lesson is to act out this funny, bug-friendly poem when you let the bugs go.

You can coach the kids to each say a line, or say it all together, and do the actions that the words suggest:

Fly away!

Crawl away!

Run away!

Hop!

You're free to go.

I'm not going to stop

You from living your life.

You deserve to be free.

Thanks for sharing

This time with me!
