Kids' Field Trip Day 

Tour of the Omaha Farmers Market 

Saturday, June 5 

Meet at 10 a.m. at 11th and Jackson and look for the Kids Garden Club sign 

Q&A with Vic Gutman, executive director of the Omaha Farmers Market 

10 a.m. - 11 a.m. presentation and tour 

All minors must be accompanied by a supervisor aged 16 or older 

Each student in a group that is affiliated with www.KidsGardenClub.org will receive a coupon underwritten by Mr. Gutman and other donors to buy something at the market!

Family Tour of Kids' Gardens 

Sunday, June 27 

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Visit at least one other garden in our network 

One student to "host" each garden during that time 

A route will be emailed to your club leader 

There will be a big horse show going on near the Skyline Ranches Neighborhood Garden southwest of 208th & Dodge, but it might be over by 4 p.m., so plan to come early if you wish to see it as well as the garden

Railroad Days at Lauritzen Gardens

Meet at 10 a.m. for a guided tour 

Sponsored by the Union Pacific Railroad; admission is $10 per family for admission into five railroad-based sites this weekend, including Lauritzen; garden admission alone is $7 for adults, $3 for children 6-12, and free for those under 6.
